I bring a deep and diverse background to this work, allowing me to meet you exactly where you are on your personal journey. With over 15 years of experience in therapeutic environments and an extensive background in science and education, I guide both individuals and groups as they explore their inner landscapes. My nearly 30 years of personal engagement with plant medicine have granted me profound insights into the aspects of ourselves that often linger in the shadows.
During my decade-long tenure as the academic director of a therapeutic boarding school, I gained extensive training and hands-on experience addressing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD.
Since becoming a legal psilocybin facilitator, I have helped facilitate many transformative experiences—including leading the first “above ground,” legal group psilocybin ceremony for veterans in the United States. I also helped pioneer a groundbreaking collaboration with Project New Day, dedicated to supporting individuals navigating Opioid Use Disorder. As part of Oregon’s inaugural cohort of trained psilocybin facilitators, I formalized my practice in June 2023. However, my journey began long before, shaped by over a decade of mentorship and training within a spiritual tradition that honors plant medicine as a sacrament. Today, I remain deeply committed to evolving my own practice while guiding others in their paths to healing and self-discovery.
I hold a profound reverence for the transformative power of plant medicine, honoring its ability to unlock the innate wisdom within each individual. My calm, grounded presence cultivates a space where people feel safe to be authentic, vulnerable, and raw. I recognize the challenges inherent in this work and approach each session with deep compassion, ensuring those in my care feel seen, supported, and respected.
Beyond facilitation, I continue to examine the nuanced realities of plant medicine in the modern era—particularly the distinction between appropriation and syncretic practice. Many of these traditions have been passed down by generations of medicine workers, and I believe in honoring their legacy while responsibly navigating the growing interest in plant medicine within the West. As a perpetual student, I am always seeking to refine my practice, deepen my understanding, and uphold the integrity of this work.
It is my honor and privilege to walk this path. If you’re curious about working together, I invite you to schedule a consultation.
