Member of the Advanced Illness Coalition of OregonHi! I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Angelique. I’m a licensed facilitator and an end-of-life doula with a background in the biosciences.
I enjoy working with people who are new to psilocybin, especially those who are at transition points in their lives and are asking the big life questions around meaning and purpose. I believe that we each have many of the answers to those questions within us and that a psilocybin journey can be a useful tool for accessing them.
I come to this work with a scientific lens. My undergraduate degree in biology is from Cornell University and I have a masters from UC Berkeley. I’ve spent more than two decades working in the biotechnology field developing medicines for cancer. A few years ago I became curious about psilocybin when I saw the remarkable research being done at Johns Hopkins University with people with serious illness. I continue to follow this work and am excited by the direction the field is heading. If you are curious about the science of psilocybin, I can provide evidence-based answers to your questions.
My main goal as a facilitator is to make you feel safe, supported, and well-prepared for your experience. My approach is supportive and non-directive and I bring my doula skills –deep listening, empathy, compassion, non-judgement - to every session. I’m here to focus on you and what you need during this potentially life-changing journey.
I look forward to meeting you and hearing about what’s piquing your interest in psilocybin services.
